How will therapy help me?

Therapy can help you understand yourself better, manage stress, improve relationships, and work through challenges. It’s a safe space where you can grow, heal, and gain tools to live a more fulfilling life.

What if I am nervous to start?

That’s completely normal! Taking the first step is often the hardest part, but you don’t have to do it alone. Our approach is warm, non-judgmental, and tailored to your comfort level. No pressure—just support.

Do you take insurance?

We are an out-of-network provider, meaning we do not bill insurance directly. However, we can provide superbills for potential reimbursement depending on your plan. We’re happy to guide you through the process and discuss alternative payment options.

What type of therapy do you offer?

We specialize in helping individuals navigate life transitions, heartbreak, self-esteem challenges, anxiety, and postpartum struggles. Our approach integrates evidence-based practices with a focus on empowerment and personal growth.

What are your Rates?

At Glimmer Path Collective, I offer affordable therapy with high-quality care. With 10+ years of experience and specialized certifications, my individual session rate is $130 and couples sessions are $170. The average cash rate for someone with my experience and certifications in AZ is typically $150-$200, but I keep my rates lower to make therapy more accessible. I also offer a limited number of sliding-scale spots for those who need additional support. Contact me for more details.

Are there any risks to therapy?

Sometimes, talking about difficult issues can bring up strong emotions or uncomfortable feelings. These are normal but can feel tough at times. We’ll go at your pace, and I’m here to support you through it.

Can I have someone important to me join my session?

Yes, if you’d like someone important to you to join a session, we can make that happen. We’ll just need to complete a Release of Information (ROI) form to ensure your privacy and specify what information can be shared. Let me know in advance, and we’ll work together to make it appropriate for your goals.

What if I am out of town or need to reschedule or cancel a session?

Due to licensure limitations clients must phsyically be in the state of Arizona to recieve services. In these cases and other instances where you might not make your session we understand that life happens! We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations may be subject to a $70 fee, but we’ll always work with you when possible.

What happens if someone calls about my therapy or if I need to send information to someone?

f someone calls regarding your therapy, I can only discuss your information with them if you’ve provided written consent through a Release of Information (ROI) form. This ensures that your privacy is respected, and you have control over who receives your information. Similarly, if I need to send information to someone, like another healthcare provider or a family member, I’ll do so only with your explicit permission, following the guidelines outlined in the ROI form. Your confidentiality is important, and I’ll always make sure you're informed and in control.

What is confidentiality?

What you share in therapy is private, but there are a few important things to know. If you or someone else is in danger, or if required by law (such as in cases of abuse), I may need to share information. In couples therapy, there’s a “no secrets” policy, meaning I cannot keep anything from either partner if it affects the work we’re doing together.

For teens in Arizona, while your parents may have access to some information, I will always work with you to understand what you feel comfortable sharing. In general, anything you share about your safety, well-being, or any serious issues will be treated with care, and I’ll discuss it with you first before involving anyone else.

Your trust is important to me, and I’ll always explain if this happens and keep you informed.

What can I expect in my first session?

Your first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll explore what brought you to therapy, your goals, and how we can best support you. It’s a space for you to share as much (or as little) as you feel comfortable. No pressure—just an open conversation at your pace.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes! Our services are primarily virtual so you can attend in the comfort of your space. Our virtual therapy sessions are secure, convenient, and just as personal as being in the office.

How long are sessions?

Sessions are typically 45-50 minutes, with prorated charges for time over 60 minutes or any support exceeding 10 minutes outside of sessions.

What kind of boundaries do we have in therapy?

In therapy, I’m here to offer support, guidance, and a professional relationship. We keep our work focused on your growth and well-being, which means we’ll avoid personal friendships or anything outside of our sessions. This helps create a safe and respectful space for you to focus on what matters most to you.

Can I email/text you?

I’m happy to communicate with you via text or email for brief matters like scheduling or general questions. However, these methods are not monitored consistently and come with some risks. Text and email are not secure ways to share sensitive or confidential information, and they should not be used for emergencies or urgent concerns. If you're in crisis, please contact 911 or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline immediately. For anything beyond scheduling, I encourage you to bring it to our session, where we can address it more fully and safely.
